A lot of items encased in a fairly small shop-front gallery. There is a wide range of paintings as well as silver jewellery and artefact pieces, and an insight into a mining environment. My favourites were the spinning kaleidoscopic mobiles. It would be easy to...More

You could spend a good three hours walking through the galleries displaying lithographs of artistic works by local well known artists. The landscapes are breathtaking and capture the remoteness of the harsh but beautiful outback. Many quirky arts and souvenirs for sale. Great range of...More

Most galleries place a cover charge. Well I’ll be. Been into many galleries where there’s no charge. Yes some art suited my taste, but a lot a kitsch stuff as well. Running videos isn’t an excuse to charge either. There are so many great museums...More

In an unpretentious building othe corner, I was initially drawn in by the promise of some original outback art. Once inside I was mesmerised with the variety of unique jewellery, odds’n’bobs, the largest painting, mementos, history all-round ... this is wall to wall mega interesting....More

This was an okay place but well worth to go and see the largest painting, quite an awesome sight and makes you wonder just how long it took. Its a must just for this, the rest is quite ordinary

My husband and I were visiting Broken Hill and saw a sign advertising the “Broken Hill Chocolate Factory” selling English sweets pointing 150m down a side street. We didn’t realise that it was also an art gallery until we arrived. When we tried to go...More

$2.50 each to get in the door and each component costs extra. Chocolate factory, silver casting etc all extra. 45 minute film of the area. $15 to view the painting. We had intended to buy some opals there but walked out instead.
