Great sculptures. One really said story attached to one of them, where the artist could not finish it, as his baby daughter had died. So sad.

This is a famous spot and one sculpture has been used many times in advertisements for Broken Hill and NSW tourism.

To get the most out of this visit just before sunset. Easy access and amazing 360 degree vista's. Watching a spectacular sunset from here was lovely. Another time we visited we got to watch a great display of surrounding lightning show.

We arrranged to be at the sculptures at sunset and we're able to experience a wonderful hot evening in the outback. Well worth the trip out of Broken Hill to view the sandstone sculptures and the living park.

Well worth the drive out to the Living Desert State Park. Good facilities to take a picnic. Need to wear suitable shoes for walking. Impressive set up for the fauna and flora areas.
