Been here few times for work training programmes and also family walks, never disappoints, with the lovely views of the reservoir, food is difficult to get so best bring your own, great for exploring and walks with the family.

A reservoir is an artificial body of water created to supply drinking and industrial water to local sources. As such it does it job. Also has some interesting bird life - herons, bitterns and assorted ducks and geese.

Nice scenic views either from the railway that crosses the reservoir or from the dam that you can drive too but thats about it. No real car park, no facilities and you can't walk round. I wouldn't bother !!
