The cruise was beautiful and it was interesting to stand so close to watch how the coal powered the engines of this amazing steam boat. Once we cruised over to Walter Peak, we watched a sheep shearing demo and patted some very cute boarder collies!...More

Just the best part of Queenstown visit was the cruise in this coal fired steam stamers through the lake. Real journey helped us to get the tickets to this wonderful experience. The scenic beauty around is indescribable. Do it yourself to experience it.

The TSS Earnslaw was packed. But we all managed to find a seat or simply explore. The sheep shearing and mustering was good fun even for us Kiwis. Lunch was great plenty of options for all.

Being a local we have been on the Earnslaw a few times. My sister and family were visiting from NY, they loved it, the animals, shearing and afternoon tea. We went during the school holidays so the children go for free! Excellent

I believe you could do this. They keep the bikes in the lower deck. Contact them direct for details. We paid approx $NZ70 return trip only. One way would be less. Good luck. Sounds exciting 🐑🐑🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️
