Visiting here for Netherlands vs Portugal July 2023, amazing stadium, friendly staff who went out of their way for me, I’m disabled, they were great, excellent disability seating and toilets and a lift aswell
Warm inside, fully covered, if you can go here to watch a game or event. It’s awesome

Worst Experience at a concert venue ever in NZ! I would advise anyone with mobility issues particularly in wheelchairs not to ever go there or even attempt to with the issues this stadium has with mobility, staffing, lack of food, attitude. If you have any mobility issues, or expect to be treated like a human or expect to be get any food whatsoever. Nice people on entering, nice Police even if you get there so extra early & break yourself getting there from another City at great expense, to get a simple mobility park, get told someone will "help' find some food. when you've had to rush so fast, you haven't had lunch as it's too hard in this world for people with disabilities. They say "They'll help" & disappear, no management around, or food for anyone so early on in the concert, not fair for anyone there. Many people have said in conversation from all over the country this is not a good venue at all even over the last few weeks & would never return; that the food always runs out & take it from someone who knows venues; It's cold despite being a nice early April day & having a roof. I was injured in the process, who cares anyway? Or about accessibility in NZ. Thanks for listening. KIa Kaha.

Beautiful mature gardens
Didn’t try the cafe as each time I went it was closed for a wedding
This is important for their sustainability but difficult for the ordinary person
The gardens are well worth a visit

A groups of friends all went along to see Otago v Tasman game in rugby. The stadium is very cool inside, helped by the roof the covers it. The stadium is open at the sides so it can still be a little chilly, depending on the weather. One thing that wasn’t so good was the cost of drinks but that is the same across most stadiums worldwide.

Do not go with friends and family or kids, many drunken fools running around starting fights and all kinds of criminal activity.

Prob one of the best beer festivals I’ve been to, not just for the beer , the actual venue makes this a very special event.
Super cool ETFE roof and naturally lends itself to all sorts of events.
Worth checking out for the architecture alone.

Forsyth Barr Stadium has been known by a number names, including Otago Stadium. It's also called "The Gassshouse," as it is a fully enclosed clear stadium with a grass playing surface.. New Zealand is mad about Rugby Union, and the Glasshouse is homeground for the Highlanders. "The Zoo" is popular with the students from the Univesity of Otago, said to be New Zealand's equivilant of Oxford. The new stadium has replaced.Carisbrook, which was known as "The House of Pain." This is certainly a magnificent stadium and hosts international music acts as well as sport. The Higlanders are based in Dunedin, and compete in the Super Rugby competition. The team is named after the Scots who pioneered the area in the 19th century.

We went to Forsyth Barr stadium on a wet summer day, thank goodness for a covered stadium. Close to the city and easy to get to.

Attended Forsyth Barr Stadium in Feb 2020 for two concerts. Venue is great and so glad the venue is covered. The only thing I dont like is that they take the lids off all bottles. It is a pain if you not drinking the straight away. I watched a couple in front of us waste half a bottle out of two OJs and they didn't even take a sip yet
