Excellent local museum with lots of interactive exhibits. Strong focus on the early days of Dunedin with a few interesting extras. We found the photographs of settlers especially interesting and were slightly non plussed to discover we remembered some of the "historic" computers!

Fantastic museum with many interactive exhibits covering the history of the local area. With over 100,000 exhibits there is something for everyone. Entry is FREE. Would definitely recommend for visitors with children

We could have spent so much more time here but were on a schedule to meet our tour bus. Interesting artifacts of everyday life set up so you can see progression thru the different eras. Well worth a visit.
