Great park with good paths surrounding the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Assessible for young and old. In the Botanics mobile scooters available for elderly. Don't miss the Rose Gardens and Rows of stunning hydranges in Summer. Always a place to come to peace.
Great lovely open place with a great play ground near the botanics. Through the park there are tennis courts, netball courts, basketball courts, a cricket pitch, a pond.

I connect with Christchurch on each visit by running through the park. Peaceful and with enough bustle to be interesting. It could offer a couple of water stations for the runners but otherwise this large park with a multitude of paths is a wonderful facility.
