If you don't feel like walking around in the park. Then just sit on a corner watch how much the locals enjoy walking running or riding their bikes around here. Some with their dogs most with at least one friend. Clearly thew locals think it's...More

Great park with good paths surrounding the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Assessible for young and old. In the Botanics mobile scooters available for elderly. Don't miss the Rose Gardens and Rows of stunning hydranges in Summer. Always a place to come to peace.

Great park to take the family. Love walking, running, or playing anytime. Although it's always best when the sun shines.

I connect with Christchurch on each visit by running through the park. Peaceful and with enough bustle to be interesting. It could offer a couple of water stations for the runners but otherwise this large park with a multitude of paths is a wonderful facility.
