This visitor information center is close to the tram stop and centrally located. The staff is very helpful and can help with restaurant recommendations and booking of activities and tours. They helped us to book a train tour.

All i-SITEs are located in central locations and often in unusual buildings and this one is no exception. Perfectly situated near all sights or buses for activities and set in such an historical building. Beautiful.

We used several i-Sites during our stay in New Zealand and found them a great source of local information on roads, attractions and accommodations. This i-Site is no exception ans we used it to book several attractions and to obtain good local maps

The i-SITE in CHCH is housed in this beautiful historic building (the old university), so you do not just go there for information, but also to enjoy history and architecture. Friendly staff!
