Had the honour of being able to perform at this wonderful theatre last week. Steeped in history, they have 3 performance spaces, and we were in the space with the incredible “stained glass done” This space had a capacity of 64 seats, and the view...More

I've been here many a time, and while the quality of shows can be charmingly variable (hey it's indie theatre - eatcha heart out!), the experience is uniformly brilliant. Long may the Bat reign.

We booked to see a play at bats, this review is a reflection on the actors or plays themselves because we weren’t allowed in. Due to traffic and parking issues we were 3 minutes late and even though my friend flew down to see her...More

I flew down from auckland espically to watch my brother in his play. I arrived 3 minutes late due to parking issues and they refused to let us in. The man at the counter was being very unhelpful and unresonable, and also would not offer...More

We saw two shows here on our recent visit to Wellington, one of which was Belonging. Excellent live theatre, lovely street frontage bar to relax in before the show, always make a point of coming here when we're in town.

Great to have an awesome local venue - I'm new to town and have really enjoyed seeing some of the Fringe Festival and Comedy Festival here. The tickets are very reasonably priced. Only criticism would be that they ask you to print out your ticket,...More

I don't know if this was community theatre or professional theatre. I DO know that it was an extremely entertaining evening with a script I'd never heard of being performed at a very professional level by a small cast of talented actresses.

I know this is a late review but around 2 years ago I booked my tickets (very early) for Follow Follow Follow at Bats. After 2 of the GO Wellington buses didn't show up (I usually expect one to not show up so I get...More
