Had a great day in Cuba Street shopping in the funky shops. Cobbled streets with groovy locals buzzing around. One of my favourite shops is Spacesuit where they sell lots of retro groovy gear at good prices.

Mum, dad and two older teens. We thoroughly enjoyed the Cuba Street culture and vibe. We aren’t big partiers but we loved the social atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights and the mix of modern and quirky by day.

Cuba st is always an interesting place to visit. The shops are interesting with different products from those found in the chain stores at NZ malls. They are fun to browse and there are many nice cafes.

Cuba St. seems to be the heart or at least one of the main centers of life in Wellington. Many shops and eateries line the street, which is partially pedestrian mall. Musicians and street artists find their way here to entertain the masses, esp. on...More

Cuba Street isn’t exactly special in itself but it is home to an excellent selection of restaurants and street food markets etc. Enjoyed going in the evening when it comes alive
