What an interesting place which has been maintained in a beautiful way. Loved the time i spent here looking around and reflecting on what these people did in their lives. A treasure to be sure.

We only discovered this cemetery by accident as we were walking down the path from the hill to the city. Quite interesting to read the inscriptions on the headstones. Well maintained too, with plenty of flowering bulbs planted throughout the meandering grounds and beautiful mature...More

Excellent walk from the Rose Gardens down through Bolton cemetery, over the motorway foot bridge in to the city. Many interesting headstones.

Its a cemetery but an interesting one, especially the stuff about moving it when the big road went in. Worth looking around if your walking down from the tram ride.
