The trench is now open and is hugely popular. You can experience the smells and sounds of the trenches as they were back in the day. Makes you glad to be born later.

The location is a little far to walk from the city, so we took an uber. A very impressive historic building, with more of the Great War Exhibition to look at. Worth the little tour with very knowledgeable guides.
