An excellent night, pub quiz night. A very amusing and very witty quiz master, great atmosphere and great beer. An essential visit next time in Wellington. Oi quiz master, Betty Boo not the Spice Girls!!

Been in here on two different night's and both were dire to say the least. No atmosphere in the place whatsoever but on the plus side nice lager.

It doesn't open till five in the afternoon, four on weekends but you'll have the best of welcomes and Mike and Jo the owners will make a fuss if your a lonely Welsh man away from home. A top pub.

I think the heading says it all. Brilliant atmosphere, good beers and just a friendly place to be. Worth the trip to NZ on its own.

I actually visited in 2006 but TripAdvisor doesn't go back that far. Thoroughly enjoyed this pub - I was there to watch NZ v Wales and (unsurprisingly) we got whipped but the atmosphere was great. Great staff and if you're lucky, proper Welsh beer!

Thank Gareth G
