Music, drumming, tai chi, and a beautiful theater, in Wellington, New Zealand, you could not ask for anything better for the older crowd, it was two blocks from apartment, restaurant was great and it was across the street from the theater. Visit it if you...More

This was my first visit to the St James Theatre but I was totally blown away by the restoration work that has gone into this beautiful old theatre. Disabled access was excellent and the staff very helpful. The highlight was obviously the event I went...More

I give this a POOR rating because we went to see the Ultimate Eagles show which was OK, (seen better), but made way worse by the people behind us talking the entire way through the show. Now I know that's nothing to do with the...More

The staff here are always helpful and pleasant. The ushers get people seated promptly and with a smile The other great thing is the number of cubicles in the ladies loo!

I visited this theatre for the first time, on 4th October, 2016, to see New Zealand Opera's production of the Stephen Sondheim musical, SWEENY TODD. The theatre is comfortable, and with very good sight-lines, and the building reminded me of Sydney's original Theatre Royal, on...More

St James's theatre is a wonderful venue. It is designed in the old school with colonnades, the Gods and a true theatrical experience being provided. We have been fortunate enough to see many different productions here in our time is the management rotate great shows....More
