This museum showcases a fascinating history of banking and money in New Zealand. An extensive collection of notes and coin are on display. Display panels are easily readable. As a specialised museum, it is well worth a visit for both local and international visitors.

We gained good insight into the history on New Zealand economy, historic coins and also observed the fun water running economy machine. We didn't see it running yet but want to make it one day.

It is just a few minutes walk from Parliament Building. A great place for money history buffs. There is a very interesting array of New Zealand notes and their history.
