WE camped there in our motorhome for 3 nights just before Xmas and there was hardly anyone there. Lots of space to camp it's a DOC site and reserve. The lake is so clear and beautiful surrounding bush.

Away from most of the crowds, this little strip of beach is lovely. Don't expect white sandy beaches but it's great to take the family for a swim.
