It's amazing that has such a museum at New Plymouth. Even my teenager found it lovely and interesting to visit. We've got heaps of information about Mt Taranaki and dinosaurs.

This is a lovely wee museum that was jam packed with exhibits and things to see. A good way to spend an hour or two.

The museum is free of charge and adjoins the New Plymouth iSite. It has a wonderful collection of New Zealand life of the past decades and centuries, as well as a nature/science area. The displays are informative without being overwhelming. Great for all ages.
