Unfortunately this gallery, which displayed locals' art for many years, has closed. However, new galleries have opened as New Plymouth has a large number of artists in the area.

Galley is no longer open to the public, but rather unused commercial space. It's a shame. The public art (paintings) outside are fun though.

Great selection of artists in a beautiful space. we found it really hard to leave with a purchase. Loved that they had a local high school exhibition - impressive.

A wonderful gallery of local art where you can meet with the artists, sometimes. Unfortunately, the NP Council has ceased its contribution to this valuable local facility. Occasional showings of art are available at local artist's studios from time to time.

A great place to go for good local art. But, sorry, Trip Advisor peeps - IT IS CLOSED!!! No longer a happening thing. Go to Puke Ariki instead or up the coast and see John McLean's gallery near Mimi.

Interesting gallery of local New Zealand artists. Lots of paintings of Mt. Taranaki. In addition to paintings, there are local, Taranaki calendars, postcards, etc. It's a good place to visit for souvenirs.

I love this gallery. It has a good representation of local artists selling their artistic wares. I also like they have an exhibition of one or 2 artists.

The art is local, diverse and unique. There is a little something for every art lover. It's free to browse.
