I spent the afternoon relaxing in the mineral pools at the Polynesian Spa, although they offer so much more! There are different temperature thermal pools, all relaxing and a great way to spend an afternoon after exploring volcanos all day. The views are beautiful, overlooking...More

I booked a Skin Deep facial which comes with free use of the pools. My body felt incredible just after 20’ soak in the mineral-rich pools. The facial was deeply relaxing and my skin certainly had a glow afterwards. I’d recommend the experience for the...More

We rented a private pool with a view of Lake Rotorua. Well worth the $30 for 30mins. Very private and so relaxing away from all the tourists. Amazing views. Shower and changing room included, bathrooms near by. Very relaxing experience.

This spa was right next to my hotel and I had high expectations. I took the $55 adult spa instead of the $30 pool because the pools are set in rocks and have a view of the lake. Also the people who work there were...More

We hoped a trip to the Polynesian spa would relax the jet-lag out of our system. Success! We experience the deluxe pools, which were 5 mineral hot pools of varying temperatures -- 4 alkaline and 1 acidic -- a cold plunge pool, and geothermal lounges....More

We spent a wonderful morning at the spa. As others have noticed in their review, or there are several pools. We purchased the X Spa package which was $55 minus the 10% discount coupon we received at our hotel. And the views of the lakes...More

Considering you are used to Chicago in the winter you will not find it cold, but it does rain a lot. The pools will be too hot for a small child. There is a family section. Take your kid there

Hi there - November see us well into spring so it would be a great option during the day. We would recommend the Lake Spa as you can enjoy a variety of pools and the views with your little one.
