Beautiful old church outside and inside. Every Saturday at 5.30 pm there is a Catholic Mass celebrated here. Welcoming visitors if you want to have a quick glimpse what is the inside, as well as attend the full mass for one hour, if you wish. Location is at the town centre, at the main road of Paihia, easy to find. On every Sunday there is mass service of Anglican Church.

We attended a recent Sunday service here, and met the great-great-great grandson of James Williams, former missionary to the area.

He was a lovely gentleman, dressed in white robe and surplice.

the service was well presented and a classical Anglican service, complete with service manual.

The hymns were classical Anglican.

All in all a classical Anglican church service, made more enjoyable by the presence of a missionary child.

Went there for Xmas day service- great vicar who kept the service short and relevant. The church itself is beautiful- stone with stunning stained glass windows. The graveyard is worth a look too

I've driven past the church many times while visiting Paihia/Waitangi and it was fascinating to enter on an evening walk while in Paihia for business. But I left wanting to know more especially about the Māori that were buried there. There's lots of information about Henry Williams etc. But explaining more about Māori would be excellent.

All lit up it looks amazing at night time and you'll likely walk past if you're staying further down the beach and want to go into Paihia for dinner. Didn't go in, but I can only imagine the inside is just as impressive.

Right next door to our accommodation, we admired it every time we walked by, the interior and windows are stunning, and the history that goes with it, well with a visit, the graveyard at the rear has historic graves, with interesting engraving on the tombstones

The St Pauls Anglican Church in Paihia is a very beautiful church outside and inside. You'll find gravestones in the garden around the church. Inside the church you'll find a peacefull space. The church gives room to 93 persons. This church and it's story is a must to see when you are in Paihia.

You can enter the Church and it is worth the time. Lovely windows. Interesting graves in the grounds dating back to early 1880s

Beautiful church, architecture seems striking because of where it is and surrounding buildings. Gorgeous inside and beautiful out.
