Lovely gardens, nice walks, great views, and an interesting memorial to MJ Savage, an important Labour Prime Minister during the middle of the 20th Century. A very agreeable place to visit.

This was another beautiful spot to visit. Although it was a memorial park, it offered another GREAT view of the city.

It was a rather cool day when we visited but the memorial itself is amazing. Beautifully maintained. We didn't spend much time here but enough to read the monument etc.

We stopped here for maybe half an hour to visit the memorial & gardens but it's a brilliant place to stop and look back to Auckland for the views. There are beautifully kept gardens with flowers but also plenty of open spaces for picnics &...More

I always bring my visitors to go up to Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park. The landscaping and flowers are enchanting. Then you walk pass the memorial and have a panoramic view of the sea. On Auckland anniversary day, we see the regattas.
