This was a great trip where we saw heaps of fabulous native birds. The bird song was amazing and the bush was fabulous. Approximately 4 hours to walk right around the island with really good signposted tracks. If you love getting back to nature this...More

Definitely worth the trip to go to the island. Make sure you take a guided tour the first time so the guide can point out each of the different birds and trees on the island. Lots of great hiking trails throughout the island!

The island is absolutely full of birdlife which you notice as soon as you step off the ferry. Beautiful coastline with rocky coves and clear water. The track is well formed but lacks good signage at many intersections. Suggest this be improved to help visitors...More

Make sure you take anti nausea pills at least half an hour before you get on the ferry as sometimes the journey is very rough.
