Very close to Auckland city, a place to have a bushwalk and unwind, smell nature and enjoy the bush. Can also be enjoyed on your way to Piha Beach.

For those not able to get out into the Real NZ Wilderness, this at least gives you a taste. Hike for a couple of hours or even overnight, and don't miss the awesome west coast beaches as well.

It's pretty hilly so a sling or backpack type of baby carrier would give you a good exercise routine. The heavier, the more training you'll get :-)
