The walk up to the top is relatively easy (20-30min) and well worth the 360 degree panoramic views of Auckland. A very beautiful place to visit. Its free, close to the city and parking is available

We were lucky with the weather for this. It us incredibly close to the city. We took a 15 min. bus trip. The walk itself is relativly short, so accessible for nearly every type of walker. (some of the hills in Auckland central are harder...More

I strongly recommend to hike up this mountain. It’s especially beautiful to sit and watch the sunset from the top. It’s an easy and nice hike, and something fun to do in Auckland.

A rarity in Auckland... a public attraction that does not charge foreigners to visit. It does not take long - maybe an hour all in. Plenty of free parking, and a great destination for an early morning jog.

We are not permitted to take our cars. It is a beautifully located in My Eden village that views entire Auckland. The creator is the attraction for all age. But old people who cannot climb up will miss this place.

Good fun if the weather permits, great walk but remember there is no vehicle access to the summit, unless pre arranged. Take comfortable shoes and appreciate nature and breathtaking views!

It's a great walk up to the summit and only takes about 20 minutes. The view from the top is the spectacular, especially across the Waitemata harbour. The top of Mt Eden is the highest point on the Auckland isthmus.

Hi, i think it depends on your level of fitness and if you are walking from the road all the way up or from the small car park. A small torch or torch from your mobile is enough to get you up and down safely. We never had... More
