We took the trip up the Swan on a day when we could, not expecting too much. However, as it turned out, the trip was most interesting, J-P gave us some well researched insights into various landmarks along the way in an easy to understand manner and in a relaxed fashion.
It was a fine and sunny day, the traveling quiet (due to the electric outboard motors being used) and free from unnecessary hype or exaggeration.
We were able to arrive easily on time via public transport and had a most comfortable ride up to the new residential development in East Perth, where we stopped and could have stayed longer except that the boat was full on the next two return journeys.
The boat took about 10-12 passengers, had comfortable seating, and cruised at pedestrian pace (which suited all on board).
We returned satisfied we had a good trip and it was worth what we paid for it. Good to do, if in Perth.

We had a raining day, but it was the best place to be inside a nice dry boat. Lovely quiet travel along the river with a great captain , who made our tour informative and comfortable. We recommend this cruise compared to bigger cruises along the river. It feels more relaxed . Thanks

A little trip on The Little Ferry Company for our Christmas luncheon from Elizabeth Quay to The Point in East Perth.
Well what an eye opener and experience that we weren’t expecting.
Not just a Ferry ride from point A to point B but an educational experience about our river, the Swan, our city, Perth and future growth to this wonderful area that will draw in tourists to be spellbound by the beauty of it all.
A half hour cruise with information and brevity from our wonderful Captain, who just happened to be French, who knew more about our river than us as locals. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back again,
Thank you for giving our Christmas celebration such a lift,

Recommend this. This little wooden boat had electric power. Quiet, no fumes. Very pleasant slow ride up past Optus Stadium and into a cove and back. Skipper was dapper Jean Phillipe (JP). The ferry is affordable. You can bring your own food and drink on board but we had a drink at the pub where it docks. It is close to the Bell Tower (also worth seeing) and in a little cove opposite the ferry that shuttles to and from South Perth. Tickets are sold from a kiosk on the jetty.

This was such an intimate way to be on the river; cute little boat and so quiet. Having a small number of seats provided a very friendly and enjoyable experience. The skipper was friendly, welcoming, humorous and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended. We are locals and found it a lovely experience.

A magnificent journey with captain JP!
Saw a different outlook on the city and surrounds with interesting knowledge shared to us. Took many photos and videos and it gave us insight into areas to explore outside the usual. Gorgeous, quiet, smooth ride with no boat fumes. Highly recommend!

Went on the Little Ferry today for my Mum’s 89th Birthday. We got in at Elizabeth Quay and off at Claisebrook Cove and had some lunch.
What a beautiful day to ride in such a quaint little wooden boat. The skipper Dave, was very informative and friendly. It’s a lovely trip for tourists AND locals! Make sure you take a ride, it’s just something a little bit special to do in Perth!
Thank you to Kris for helping to organise! Amazing service!

Divine Social took group of young people with disabilities on the ferry last night to Claisebrook Cove. It was awesome. Bob the skipper was lovely and kept us entertained with his stories. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you so much to the team. Booking was nice and easy and we had an overall fabulous experience.

Sailing on the Swan River and as dusk is setting in seing everything lit up. Able to bring our own picnic and drink. No fuel smells as Little Ferry runs on energy from the sun. David our Skipper was a true Gentleman explained everything we needed to know. Would go another Little Ferry Cruise.

We took a round trip cruise on January 5, from Elizabeth Quay to Optus Stadium and back and had a wonderful afternoon. It ended up that we had a private trip as it was just my wife, parents and myself on the boat. Jean-Phillipe was wonderful, very friendly, knowledgeable and made sure that we were happy and comfortable throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to people visiting Perth, or to take people who are visiting me.

Can somebody please tell me what the exact stops are? Because I already know it stops at Elizabeth quay ,on the point and Claisebrook cove but some people say it stops at Burswood jetty at Optus stadium and a few other stops but now I’m confused

HI. Planning to visit Perth. how much is this trip per person?
Written May 6, 2017
$12 per adult one way (45minutes) or $22 return. Its nice to go one way, stop at the hotel for a drink or eat at one of the restaurants or cafes and then take the free Yellow Cat bus back to the CBD from Royal Street.
It seemed really cheap compared with the other river tours but I couldn't fault the ride or service. I boarded the boat at Elizabeth Quay,
The ferry leaves Elizabeth Quay daily at 9:30, 11:00, 1:00, 2:30 and 4:00pm.
I think the best departure time is 4pm for nice late afternoon light on the river, have a drink then a meal and see the Cove by day and then with the pretty rainbow lights on the footbridge reflected in the water after dark.
Claisebrook Cove is very pretty but is quite quiet with only a few places to eat and drink compared with, say, Clarke Quay in Singapore.
Recommended for a sunny day.

Hi, I've just made a booking for tomorrow's 10.30am departure from Elizabeth Quay and the return trip at 11.15am. Any chance for me to reschedule the return trip time to a later timing as we might wanna explore Clairebrook Cove area a bit. Thanks in advance.
