When I visited the steps were full of fitness fanatics charging up and down the steps. Can't see the attraction myself. Just make sure you don't leave your belongings at the bottom. It is a long return journey.

If you're fit and physically able to do it, why not? Get a free leg workout on your way to Kings Park. The view from the stairs are OK but there are better views from within the Kings Park precinct.

If you don't like gym and exercising or running than this leathers are the best solution. If you are not in shape you will like this of physical activity.

Went there at 6:40am and it was already packed with sweaty fitness fanatics going up and down the steps like nobody's business. The view from the top is definitely worth the sweat, though.

First climbing the stairs and then you can continue in Kings Park and Botanic Garden. A bit up and down, but the views are stunning. If you do this run as a tourist you should certainly also stop to make pictures. No traffic, only footpaths.

Although designed to get you from river level up to Kings Park it is most used as part of fitness programmes. This time we looked at the recent renovation but in the past have used it to prepare for trekking

This is on most people’s bucket list but not mine....however, meeting at the cafe at the bottom meant a descent and that went well. You will find people passing at a jog or taking the steps two or three at a time; some make this...More

This is a popular place for local fitness fans as you get a pretty good workout going up and down these steps. It's quite steep but gives you a lovely view. We went up as tourists, not for fitness and was much happier on the...More
