Well worth a visit on the way to Cape Leveque. Great use of mother of pearl to create a unique church. While there stop for a good coffee at the supermarket across the park.

This church was beautiful gold coin donation to go is an honour system. We stoped at Beagle bay to see this church with the stunning mother of pearl Altar. It is full of history.

WE visited this beautiful Church while we were travelling around Australia. The long rough drive was worth the visit. The Church is spectacular.....all the beautiful mother of pearl ...we have never seen anything so beautiful.

This church is well worth the visit to find out its unique history and to see the amazing way that the local shells have been used to create the religious artefacts in the church.

Just a quick stop on the walk to Kooljaman but worth the efforts this little chapel has a history and is beautifully decorated with local area shells speaking to the coastlines pearling history

Didnt know what to expect But was totally amazing to see how its all been done with seashells inside. Very unexpected and very different something you must see when in Broome on your way to Cape Levique

All the brochures say that when in this area this POI is a "must see" Why? Its an altar decorated with hundreds of mother of pearl shells...mmmm. At the entry door there is a donation box asking for $5. Our sight seeing was all over...More

Great to get a bit of history but this is off the beaten track with some tour operators incorporating a visit in with a larger tour.
