This lovely, hand crafted chapel has stood for many years, not a destination on its own but if you are travelling up the peninsula then very worth the short diversion off road to visit.
A $10 admission ( honesty box) is requested.

Lovely small church, with an absolutely amazing pearl altar. Extremely clean town, the tour bus is parked under a massing mango tree for morning tea. The information board in front of the church explains really well the history of the first parish priest, Father Duncan McNab.

Is amazing place and so well maintained. Is interesting reading the information board out side as has connection to Sister Mary McKillop from western Victoria. The alter is amazing with mother of pearl shells . Well worth the visit.

This little church in Beagle Bay is a must to visit! It is a visual treat with the decorations made from the pearl shells.

A special place - local folk are so welcoming and the church is stunning. It is such a shame that only the Westerner involved in building the church is named and not the names of the women who laid the shells.

We were impressed by the beautiful mother of pearl altar and the stations of the cross. An unexpected jewel in our outback experience.

Lovely white church, set in a stunning Aboriginal site started by the original missionaries & the Catholic church for the Aboriginal communities there. The nearby school also is Catholic for the students to go to Yr 10.
The beautiful Pearl shellsadorning the altar, windows & surroundings are striking & there’s a huge billboard with good information out in the church grounds. Well worth a look.
