Any Melbourne Garden in August or Winter is a great visit with the many trees shedding their leaves and the weak sunlight filtering through the branches. Treasury gardens is not exception. There are plenty of walking paths crisscrossing the gardens and it's a great place...More

A short walk from Victoria’s Parliament House and are overlooked by the old Treasury buildings, and State Offices. They create a landscaped setting for office workers to enjoy during lunch with large areas of lawn and walking paths lined with mature trees. Great on a...More

This is another serene haven in the city. You can wander through the landscaped garden. There is a memorial to President John F Kennedy by the fountain/pond. If you go back in the evening you may spot a Possum.

Beautiful gardens located next to the Old Treasury Building. It’s a great place to take photos and relax. Would recommend here for photos, wedding photos, picnics or a nice walk.

We walked through and around on our way to & back from the MCG. Loved the gardens. Loved the picnicking taking place and the ones having wedding photos taken.

Treasury Gardens are a beautiful spot where you can go to just relax. We walked through and sat down for a while in amongst the trees and the beautiful flowers. There are also some lovely ponds with birds and other life. Worth visiting.

It is likely that it is a Flame Tree - however it would be easier to identify with a picture.
