Known as the New York end of Collins Street, our newest store is located at 495 Collins Street, just next door to the Intercontinental Melbourne The Rialto Hotel in the heart of Melbourne’s financial district. It is our sixth Melbourne store, and fourth in the CBD after we first opened at the Paris end of Collins Street in 1965. Located within a heritage listed Queen Anne style building that dates back to the late 1800’s, the architecture is a perfect fit for Haigh’s. Whether you are staying in the hotel, or visiting the busy Docklands, our team are ready to help you find something delicious at one of our largest stores.

No, seriously. Nothing else needs to be said. Go there, eat their chocolate and then question why you've not done it sooner and in vaster quantities.

Friendly staff, handy location, and not as frantic as the Block arcade store. Most amazing selection of chocolate for yourself or for gifts.

I have just returned from another wonderful holiday in Europe. As a committed chocoholic I eat chocolate in every country I go to, price immaterial. I have to say none of it measures up to what comes out of a small factory in Adelaide! If...More

The chocolate really is amazing. Premium chocolate that isn't cheap. It's hard to argue though when the quality is so good.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

Haighes only serve chocolate over the counter. No afternoon tea is served. If you are looking for a chocolate sit down treat, try Koko Black or for a step up, the Langham Hotel or the Windsor Hotel for a high tea.
