My fiancee and I really enjoyed this bike tour! Our guide did a great job giving us the history of all the places that we stopped at. The only downside was that we both felt like the tour didn't go out far enough to show St. Kilda or any of the beaches. We would have loved a longer tour option... More

We chose Freddy's bike tour during a recent trip to Melbourne and had a blast. Freddy made the tour so fun and interesting - Melbourne has a tonne of history. It was great value for money and the bikes were lovely to ride. Keep up the good work Freddy! If we come back to Melbourne, which I hope we do... More

Our family had never visited Melbourne (or Australia for that matter) and taking Freddy's Bike Tour was a brilliant way to get an overview of all the city has to offer while learning the history, some fun lore and having a leisurely tool around on a bike. I was amazed at the city's beauty and accessibility and we got to... More

What a character! (& requested that we say he is the best looking tour guide everrrr) Clearly fascinated by the history of his city. My second trip and it was equally as good as the first. Thanks Freddy.

Fabulous tour of Melbourne CBD, on easy to ride bikes. Visiting many interesting sites by bike was a treat, one of the highlight's was rolling all the way down Swanson St without stopping. Great coffee and grovey lunch stop. We enjoyed Freddys commentary, knowledge & good humour to mention his good looks! The kids (12yrs old) did it easy and... More

Very nice way to discover the city in a safe way - the tour lasted for 4,5 hours, we have seen the best places.

This is a safe easy-paced guided bike tour around Melbourne, stopping at various points of interest along the way. Our Guide, Rhys, was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. The bikes were geared and well maintained. I highly recommend this tour.

Freddys tour is an excellent way to get your bearings around Melbourne whilst taking in some of the city's key sights. Freddy was a funny, knowledgable and attentive guide and the food stop was very tasty! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour!

Freddy led the tour which covered round the inner suburbs as good complement to the free walking tour. Good bikes and route taking us up the Yarra to the Shrine of Remembrance; across to MCG and Rod Laver; out to Fitzroy for lunch; then back into town. Interesting and informative commentary - a great way to spend 4.5 hours.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
