We had the most fabulous experience. We saw beautiful Melbourne and ate at an awesome restaurant.. Freddie (our tour guide and business owner), was very knowledgeable of the history of his country as well as ours - We were a mix of US Americans and South Americans. Freddy and his staff are friendly, funny, and super laid back! I cannot... More

An original, genuine, informative tour to get to know key landmarks and also hidden jewels of this open, cycle-friendly city. Excellent local knowledge. Good quality bikes and helmets. We had a great time. Thanks Freddy!

After an impressive initial tour my wife booked as a family for the 4.5h long city tour. We started in the morning and got set up with all we bikes and helmets. Freddy was very helpful to provide the equipment needed i.e. a wheel attached to my bike for my daughter. We then cycled through the city; nothing too strenuous... More

Getting an overview on the first day in a new city is critical to help understand how it all fits together and visit areas you'd otherwise miss. If you're in Melbourne, look no further than Freddy's to help you achieve this! Fortunate to be with the man himself, our group of four enjoyed a fun, informative and exciting tour around... More

I had a morning (11am) 1/2 day tour with Freddy himself and enjoyed it immensely. I was worried beforehand that I would not be able to keep up because it has been a long time since I have biked, let alone biked for 4 hours, but there were enough stops in between the biking that I was able to catch... I’m a local, female, in my 70’s; had a great ride yesterday (despite the heat!). A different way to see my city, it was good fun, easy cycling, with plenty of stops. Freddy is very pleasant and friendly; easy to listen to the stories which he presents in a clear, entertaining and informative manner. The bikes are very comfortable and... More

Freddy was our guide today and we had a great time. He is a friendly and amusing guide. He knows much about Melbourne and it's history. He has done tour guiding in Europe and so you will get a very good tour. Interesting facts, passing many iconic sits and he found a cracker hidden lunch spot. Not too taxing a... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
