If you are into non mainstream movies this is the place for you. Pay little attention to all the complainings in other reviews! Sure there may be a plague of mice currently. NB: climate change etc. At least we are not in a Pacific Island...More

I love this cinema and its alternative menu of films. I am a frequent visitor. But this afternoon I had a horrible experience when sitting in the cinema, watching a movie and a mouse ran over my foot. I was horrified and left the cinema...More

Love this cinema in a cosmopolitan part of Melbourne. Lots of great places to eat and drink nearby, a good bar in the cinema itself. Always a good range of films, from arthouse to blockbuster. Why do a multi-plex when you can have such a...More

In its heyday cinema, Nova was plush, BUT it has become uncared for and tired looking. I feel disappointed in the appearance of the cinema and feel disgusted by the unhygienic presence of mice during a session. It only makes me wonder how unsanitary the...More

Lygon Street
If you want real parmesan, cut from the block, grated
over your pasta with a twist of style, this is the
place. Until recently, this neighbourhood was home to
the notorious ‘Carlton Crew,’ a pseudo mafia who
started their day with a local espresso. They are
gone, but the espresso still runs strong in this
Little Italy which has something for everyone.
