It was a 2 day trip around the great ocean road and phillip island. The hotel was nice but the bus was a bit unconformtable. Adam is a great guide. He added more stops to the program so we can enjoy more the trip.

Our lifetime dream of visiting Australia was finally a reality. We just had to see Koalas, Wallaby and Kangaroos. Bunyip tours did not let us down. We were able to pet a Koala Bear and feed the Roos and Wallabies. Graham was our guide, driver, and Mr. Knowledge. He was wonderful. In the evening we also enjoyed the penguin parade... More

A few things to know about this tour- we booked on Expedia and it states the tour is 9 hours- it is 12 hours- actually with hotel pick up it was 12.5 hours- so dinner plans in Melbourne are scrapped- it was McDonald's, KFC or a local Chinese noodle place in the middle of nowhere for dinner.. the bus seats... We used Bunyip twice while in Melbourne firstly to do the Philip Island day tour which was a great experience our driver/tour guide Rob was good fun and very informative, it's a long day out but really worth going. The second time we did the Neighbours tour our driver/guide chris was very informative about this trip and again it was... More

Matt, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about wildlife and also whipped up good meals for us with the help of the rest on the same tour. The overnight locations (opted for ensuite) were authentic. Would have preferred the Bunyip tour to state what sort of meals will be prepared because being an asian, my family had to make some... My friend and I have signed up for the Philips Island Tours with Bunyip tours on 5 May 17. Our guide cum driver is Kurt.  Kurt has a great sense of humour, very attentive despite having a big group that day.  Kurt was very informative on the places that we are visiting and more than willing to share his recommendation of... From my view, a good tour is marked by well chosen locations, the right travel pace and a cool guide. This tour had it all. In addition the overnight locations gave a quite authentic local experience. A very lovely place and a place in the outback made our evenings great! If you are lucky, you may get Simon as a... More

I took my niece on the Neighbours Exclusive Access tour with Bunyip Tours for her Birthday and we both had such a fun time! We did have to wait a little longer than expected at the Bunyip office in the CBD for the bus to arrive, however everyone was very polite and friendly. Our tour guide Gerry was fantastic, he... Having been in Australia for the month of April and had a world wind vacation of all the highlights like Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef eta....we knew we had to see these last two sites. We booked it through Dan at Happy Travels ( big shout out to Dan, you were great booking this at the last minute )... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
