Most of the reviews here seem to be for the biking tour, but we had the same excellent experience on Bryan's driving/walking tour of Melbourne. He took us all around the city and shared a great mix of history/cultural tidbits and funny personal anidcdotes to keep us entertained throughout the day. He bought us a nice morning coffee and took... More

We arranged a bike tour for a family of four adults at last minute and we're glad we did so. We all equally enjoyed a day of cycling around Melbourne city. Our guide, Bryan was delightful and very informative. This is a casual ride which suits any level of fitness despite being over four hours in duration. The fantastic bike... More

Murray and his team are fantastic. Our group called the night before and he customized a trip for us! We got to ride nice bikes throughout the city and he made it a safe, fun and informative tour. He even allowed us to finish our tour alone as the group needed to return. Really recommend them highly.

If you want to see some of Melbourne's highlights from the saddle then I really recommend them. Centrally located (with a convenient cafe next door if you get there early), good quality bikes, and great guide (on the day we went). See sporting venues, museums, castronomic highlights and the river and miuch more.

I went on the tour with my wife and two year-old attached on a kid's seat behind me. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the local area and friendly. The start location at Federation Square is very convenient and the ride is very easy with few hills. Our stops for morning tea and lunch were great and our guide was... More

We had a fantastic time on our bike tour of Melbourne. Travelling to the city as part of our honeymoon, we had limited time to see everything, but this tour ensured we were given a good overview of Melbourne. Our tour guide Paul was brilliant, very friendly and informative - he had a great knowledge of the city and its... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
