The shop has a small museum with several very interesting pieces of opal. Since there were no other customers the shopowner took us around and proudly explained several details about the exhibits.

It’s located in the basement. In the shop there is some display case about Opal and you can see video, too. I had a coupon from magazine and they gave me a small kangaroo pin with triplet Opal! I love it.

By entering the place you get an introduction to the history of opal mining and you also get informed of the different qualities of opals and what you have to know before you buy.
