I visited St David's Cathedral on the weekend of their Flower Festival as it was the 50 th Anniversary. There were over 75 displays and the Cathedral smelt lovely.

This is a lovely old church downtown to find some quiet time during the day. The stained glass windows are beautiful and the colonial sandstone is beautifully carved. Well worth ducking in to see.

St. David's Cathedral is the most prominent religious place in downtown Hobart. While the facade is grand, the interior is relatively simple and has not much to offer.

St, David's is right in the centre of Hobart and provides an opportunity for some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were warmly welcomed when we went inside and were given a short history and overview of the church...More
