Stumbled upon this little park alongside Long Beach. Well equipped with interesting and fun play structures, a delight for my daughter. Meanwhile, the promenade along Long Beach offered a quiet time for walking contemplation with pleasant seaside gazing for a Winter's afternoon. A very nice...More

We were here for a good one hour. We enjoyed our walk on the beach. We saw several boats on the ocean. Several kids were swimming in the ocean as well. They also had the opportunity to play on the playground. However, it seemed that...More

Great walk around the pathways in and around Sandy Bay. There's a couple of café's nearby but the coffee wasn't anything worth raving about. If you have kids I would suggest making time for the local playground - it's huge and keeps the little ones...More

Enjoyable walk, well defined pathways, eateries nearby. If keen, dip into the cool water for a swim.

We were staying local and looking for a safer area for the kids to swim and cam across Longbeach Reserve. It was jam packed with families and groups of friends. The beach area is in a small cove, so away from the tidal current and...More

One of Sandy Bay's "beaches" this place is dull and unexciting. Sure; you'll find pizza, coffee shops and a few park activities but this beach is so over-rated that the only reason I both to rate it is to caution those who'd think it desirable...More

A constant summer and sometimes autumn and spring place to visit, though walking your dog along the esplanade is great at any time of the year. Beach is always clean, the pontoon great fun and big grassy areas for picnics. The bbq facilities and toilets...More

Well there were the last time we were there, best to ask the resort. Would be very surprised if there weren't lights in the BBQ areas.
