Stopoed by to see the tennis court. Was very interesting and we were lucky a game was happening whilst we were there. We were allowed to stay a while and watch. The man working there was friendly and it was nice to see a historic...More

a most unusual place...ancient tennis court but very interesting a whiff of an elitist past, now for everyone to watch and nice bar

It is in town and dates to the 19th century, an example of tennis courts that were in use in the 15th century, There aren't many courts or clubs in existence so if passing by pop in to see a bit of history.

Came down with MCC Real Tennis Section to play HTC over a weekend, great hospitality and friendliness shown by HTC, it's pro and members. Too bad we lost this time!
