Not as busy as some beaches in Adelaide, but close to a railway station, and also has a pub across the road. Not a bad beach actually, and does have some charm.

Whilst touring Greater Adelaide we explored the coast a fair bit there seems to be a jetty at each of the beaches all along the coastline. They all provide stunning views (at any time of the day but sunsets are special) and a lovely stroll often with a lovely breeze (sometimes bit stronger!!)

If I was reviewing for a run, walk or ride along the esplanade, then this would get 5*. A well maintained path and relatively flat, nice views.

If you're here for a day out with a group or with kids, well.. the restaurants are overpriced and not very good. You don't really have many options in the way of dessert/snacks, and it isn't that easily accessible by public transport unless you live along the train line. It is near impossible to find a park after 9am on a sunny day of the weekend.

There are a couple of good playgrounds/bbq areas nearby and the beach itself is lovely. So really it depends what you're here for.

There always seems to be a cool breeze here and the Seacliff Hotel offers areas to sit and enjoy the view while you eat or drink. We saw a "cart" where Jehovah's Witnesses quietly allowed people who wished to take some literature (for free) and read as they sit on the beach or on one of the many benches there. Both dogs and humans were enjoying the water and the whole afternoon was pleasant.

Normally I have only been to Glenelg beach in my travels to Adelaide due to lack of a vehicle. This time we stayed at Kingston Park Caravan Park and walked to Seacliff Beach and also to Brighton Beach. Adelaide beaches need more PR/marketing as they are an unknown quantity for people from other localities. Beaches are clean, tidy, lots of walking tracks and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Proudly support Adelaide beaches and not just Glenelg!

Not as many activities on the beach these days as there used to be such as the sandcastle competition, but its a good safe beach for kids and families close to all amenities and dog friendly.

This is such a great beach for everyone. Dogs are allowed off the leash in the mornings and the beach is always full then. Some early morning fishing by the surf club. By 10am the people thin out during the week but there is always activity here. At the Surf Club you can go upstairs Thursday to Sunday for coffee and food. They also open Friday and Saturday nights for dinner. Good food and great coffee served with a smile. Highly recommended for sunset photos or just a walk on the beach.

What a wonderful beach, a morning stroll from Brighton to Seacliff finished with a lovely coffee at Seacliff surf club. I like to take the kids on a colder Adelaide day to paddle and hunt for the best shell, overall it is fantastic beach with the exception of the drain halfway down, it generally smells a little and I have no idea what is coming out, therefore, we steer well clear.

Seacliff is a well known 'secret' among the locals. The beach is pristine and has a beautiful cove , Seacliff Sailing Club and a generous carpark. Sitting in the Sailing Club, enjoying a drink or two is a very relaxing way to while away the afternoon..evening.
