I'd say book at least a year ahead for platinum The gold class was very comfortable and we didn't spend all that much time in the cabins anyway. The bar cart is a lovely place to relax and you eat in the dining carts... More

All large suitcases are checked in because there is not a lot of floor space in cabins so it is more for your own comfort. There is no strict dress code for dining so you don’t need to pack all the extra clothes.
