Royal Red is the theme at Her Majesty’s with red carpet, red theatre seats and red window shades setting the tone. Built in 1913 and originally called the Tivoli, Her Majesty’s is the last still standing in Australia of a range of vaudeville theatres all...More

My daughter and I went to see Alice in Wonderland at Her Majesty’s this afternoon an impromptu decision to buy last minute tickets turned out to be a good decision. The show is a favourite of ours and the staff were very helpful. Given this...More

A lovely night out to see a live theatre show. There are many restaurants in this part of the city. There are some unusual features of this venue. The arrival area is tight and stairs are a challenge. Largely standing room with only a few...More

I really hate spending good money to see a show and finding seats uncomfortable - which happens practically everywhere but not at Her Majesty's! From an architectural perspective the building is gorgeous outside, though not nearly as pretty inside. The acoustics are great though for...More

My first visit to this theatre and although I love heritage buildings the limitations in this theatre mean I probably won't go back until the projected expansion is completed. The downside to the theatre is no lift and a lot of stairs - the one's...More

Such a lovely theatre restored to it's former glory. The only thing that I would sugest is that they include a centre aisle. We sat off centre and were forever standing to allow patrons to pass through.

I always try to avoid the front seat and HM Adelaide is no exception. I would opt for row C as the closest and preferably would be choosing a seat about between G and L if they are available.
