Walked to West beach surf club to get a bike after reading about free bike hire on bike SA website. Was told they only have one bike and it's out, the rest are broken.

Free bike 'hire', a great way to check out the city sights. Relatively flag riding around town and out to Glenelg Beach.

Helpful staff, great tips and maps. Adelaide is a very cycle friendly city. I'm not a great cyclist, yet the bikes were easy, the roads wide and flat and masses of parkway. Highly recommended.

Free bike hire = a great way to see the city! Anyone wanting to see the sights should definitely consider taking one of the free bikes around the city! Highly recommend cycling along the river!

What a fantastic idea it is to have free bike hire. I hired bikes today with my three sons and Adelaide is a fantastic place to ride around. We rode around the CBD and stopped where we wanted. The bikes come with helmets and bike...More
