A little touch of the 1800's tucked away in central Adelaide - take some quiet time and see how the upper class lived 150 years ago

We were fortunate in that our guide was very knowledgable and kept a diverse group fascinated with her accounts of early social history. She made life in 19th century Adelaide, amongst the well-to-do really interesting and enjoyable. Not just a tour of the House treasures!

The excellent guide made the tour interesting for the adults and children alike. Too bad much of the house is off limit to tourists as it is restuarant space. The tour did give us a good picture of the Ayers opulent lifestyle.
