We often head into the city just to go for a wander round the botanical gardens, just off north terrace. They comprise a great collection of plants and interesting pavilions and greenhouses that should not be missed when in the city

There was a lot of beauty at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. There was a Chinese garden and lots of flowers everywhere! They even had aquatic plants and reeds. A pond for ducks with intriguing plants. There were palm trees in a greenhouse and in another...More

What an amazing place. The amount of care that has gone in to growing and presenting these gardens is fantastic. Well worth a visit for both young and the young at heart.

A wonderful way to spend the day or some of it wandering through the gardens. Many different sections that flow beautifully throughout. Get to see rainforest, cacti, Australian native and much much more. Enjoy on your own, with a friend, family or group.

Beautiful compact gardens. Well maintained. Needs something more to attract visitors. Apart from water lilly pavillion, nothing much there or open when we visited.

Located on the edge of the CBD there is lots of things to see. Great for an afternoon picnic or for a relaxing walk in the lush gardens

The garden is very close to the city, but once in the garden it is so easy to forget the surroundings and just enjoy the peaceful environment. Lots of information and plants to admire. Restaurant, cafe, kiosk, and restroom in the garden as well.

I've been to the Botanics many times over the years, and love it. The Moreton Bay fig avenue is my favourite spot but the conservatory is great too, and the gardens are really relaxing and so conveniently located.
