Great tram service to Glenelg. Very easy to catch opposite the end of Rundall Mall and drops you very close to the beach. Definitely worth a visit, although can be crowded at peak hour times and so hard to get to the self-serve ticket machine.

One way trip is only $3.60 for a lovely ride through the suburbs to the interesting beach town of Glenelg. Tram runs every 15 minutes and is very comfortable.

I get the tram almost daily from Glenelg to the city for work and occasionally weekends with my family. For the price it’s always our first choice. They run very regularly and if you miss one, the next won’t be long behind. Always a first...More

There is only one tram going out to Glenelg so it should be pretty straightforward and you can pay once you are on.
