Convenient way to travel from Glenelg to the city of Adelaide and return. Very clean public transportation. Park your car at many of the tram stops for free and travel via the tram.

Fabulous way to travel to the Beach from the City with a 40min tram ride. This is so very convenient for everyone to enjoy and enjoy the sights along the way. We have done this many times and highly recommend it to everyone.

Almost 50 years ago we spent our honeymoon at Glenelg. There wasn’t a lot that we remembered but it was nice to revisit. The tram is certainly a lot more modern and the pier wasn’t there 50 years ago. Nor were all the high rise...More

The journey on the tram travelling between the city of Adelaide and the gorgeous white sand Glenelg Beach is a real treat and must-do for anyone visiting the city. Glenelg has great restaurants, cafes, bars and ice-creameries. The esplanade is a brilliant walk through to...More

Glenelg Tram runs from downtown Adelaide to the Glenelg Beach. It’s a convenient and inexpensive public transportation route. The tram itself is clean and safe, traveling speed is pretty low though.

I went to the city one afternoon from Glenelg. I can do some sightseeing rather than concentrate on the road when I drive the car in. A very pleasant way to travel when not in a hurry.

There is only one tram going out to Glenelg so it should be pretty straightforward and you can pay once you are on.
