WILD LIFE Hamilton Island is one of only a few places in the world where you can experience the thrill and excitement of cuddling a koala. This is an excellent opportunity to get up close and personal with one of Australia's most famous and unique animals. Other experiences include Breakfast with the Koalas, Koala Cuddle Photos, personal encounters with other animals including our Dingoes, Snakes and Lizards, our Keeper Tours (free with admission) and the Twilight Tour and BBQ. Way too expensive just for the breakfast buffet. Was good but I personally feel it was maybe $10 each overpriced or at least include a barista coffee per person.

My wife especially wanted to look at this . One can basically just have a look at the wildlife by oneself, have a guided tour at a designated time twice a day or finally do something extra like have your photo taken holding the koala....More

I have visited the wildlife park many times whiles staying on Hamilton Island. The 10.00am and 4.00pm tours by the keepers uThe are very informative, and if you repeat the tour with a different guide you are bound to learn a few more new fascinating...More

I came here almost 20 years ago and on my return visit not much at all had changed. I think the quality of enclosure has changed a lot in Australia in the last couple of decades and this place needs a bit of a reno.More

This review has certainly come as quite a surprise considering the level of upgrades that have been completed at our attraction over the past 5 years. Exhibits are modernised well beyond what you would have experienced some years ago with every effort to improve the...More

We had some spare time so we decided to give it a visit. Very cool with some of the animals walking around with you. Not cheap if you have a family

Many thanks for your feedback. I do wish weather conditions were more favourable for your visit this week but sadly the build up to Cyclone Iris left us a little wet. Pleased to hear how you enjoyed the animal interaction in our open animal exhibit.

We had breakfast here before our cuddle with the koalas. The setting was nice, but a bit cramped. Staff were terrible. No fine dining service here. They didn’t do anything wrong, just very young and inexperienced. The koalas were in enclosures where breakfast was, so...More

Small but interesting WildLife Centre with crocs, Koalas, Dingos, tropical birds, snakes, and Wallabies. My teens loved having breakfast surrounded by sleeping Koalas. If you pre book you can hold a Koala for a few seconds.
