The apartment we rented was a 2 bedroom one of the room was small but with the huge drawing dining space available it did not really matter
The stay was comfortable and plenty of food within walking distance Surfers Paradise was just a few minutes walk

We arrived on the Goldcoast a few nights ago, we had booked accommodation elsewhere and it was terrible! We packed up and decided to stop in at the Q1 for a night while we rearranged our plans.
We were greeted by Lee, who not only made us feel very welcomed, but she went above and beyond to make our night enjoyable. (Thanks Lee) we ended up booking an additional 4nights here as we just loved it.
All staff were super helpful and friendly.
Loved the fact they had an on-site coffee shop near reception also.
Our 10 year old loves the pools, spa and games room. We will certainly be staying again.

I booked into the Q1 using a deal with Luxury Escapes.

We had a one bedroom ocean view apartment on level 25. The apartment was largely open plan with sliding door to close the bedroom. The apartment was in good condition. I didn’t really use the kitchen but it was well equipped with everything you would need for a few nights stay. It also had a full size oven. I really wish the tea cups were bigger though! Because of the height of the building it had a balcony area which was largely enclosed with windows you could open. I quite liked this concept, particularly as it was very windy during our stay.

The apartment came with a starter pack of amenities - tea, coffee, sugar and basic toiletries. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely spa bath.

There was a couple of onsite restaurants. We went to Longboards for a burger. Longboards also had a happy hour every afternoon.

There were lots of restaurants near by and a short stroll to the centre of Surfers to pick up extra supplies.

The patrolled beach was a 2 minute walk away. Remember to always swim between the flags. The Surf can be rough on the Gold Coast.

The staff at Reception were friendly and helpful. If you are there on the weekend do take advantage of the deal for hotel guests to have breakfast at the top of Q1. Very reasonably priced and enjoyable breakfast, $31 only offered during school holidays and weekends.

The pool area was really lovely with plenty of room.

Overall a very nice stay and I would stay again.

Beside the staff being very friendly, there is nothing positive about this place. A lot of things lacking in the room, the bed was hard, the AC was loud and 4 elevators means that it takes around 30 minutes to get to the lobby. The worst part is the hotel pool area. Families "reserve" spots early and stay all day meaning that if you are not one of the early people you have absolutely no chance of enjoying an hour or two by the pool. The hotel management does not care since at this point you have already paid and whether you can access the pool or not does not bother them at all.

Disgusting place. They charged $300 for a burnt carpet that was there prior to us staying. They are a joke. They don’t reply to emails even when they say to email this place. This place is a SCAM and be weary on staying there. Plenty of amazing places to stay that is not Q1.

We come here every year. I love going to the day spa for the 90 mins treatment. You get the massage, exfoliation, shower and facial. My therapist Hiromi was professional, sincere, and went over and above my expectations. I would definitely ask for an Asian therapist as this is my fifth visit to this day spa and every year I get someone different. All of the girls are great, but the Asian therapists go the extra mile. No I’m not racist, I’m kiwi with Maori heritage. So colour has nothing to do with it. P.S the photos don’t do it justice. This is a five star spa.

We had a 2 bedroom ocean view apartment
Loved everything about it very clean spacious and quiet.
Views were amazing staff were friendly and I feel it was worth the price we paid.
The only thing I recommend is taking an eye mask if you can’t sleep in a light room as sun comes through early in the morning.
Air conditioning is on a twelve hour timer that you can not change and goes off early in the morning which is a bit annoying.
Definitely would stay again

This resort has it all, no need to leave the venue, a cafe for the early morning coffee lovers, mini convenience store, bistro and bar, chemist, hairdresser, restaurants and a must to to visit the 77th floor sky deck and do the Sky Point climb.

It has spacious well equipped apartments and the views are amazing, which are well serviced with fresh towels each day.
Stayed three nights, used all the facilities it has to offer with the 2 big pools, with wonderful surroundings. The only bad thing to say it only has one indoor spa, however it does have a spa and wellbeing centre on site if you want to pay for luxury.

The resort is so close to all the action of Surfers Paradise, Cavill Avenue and a sones throw to the beach, but without all the hustle and bustle of all the action.

Helpful hint to get the most of the vie book anywhere from 41 - 75.

We recently stayed there for 5 nights . We were initially on level 8, however it was very noisy and then we got moved to level 46 which had spectacular view , the rooms are both very spacious and clean . We really enjoyed the room.

They have both indoor and outdoor pool , the pool are good except that my son said he saw lots of hair at the bottom of the pool . As long as you don’t dive down then you won’t see it .

The wifi was ok on level 8 but very bad on level 46... so we end up couldn’t browse anything as there seem to be very weak signal..

The location is very convenient

We are long time locals to the Gold Coast
after living way / rural for many years we’re back and appreciate our lovely GC beaches and hot spots even more - we tend to stay at the Q1 for a little local Holiday whenever we can it holds a special place in our hearts :) on this occasion it was our honeymoon we originally booked two nights and we’re so pleased (as always) with everything we extended to a third nights stay - we we’re excited to find we had been upgraded with no extra cost and had an AMAZING VIEW (most rooms of course have spectacular views) it really made us feel special. Q1 is in a great location to easily access town for whatever you fancy great for families and party goers alike. Waking distance to attractions and all the best restaurants - each time we stay everything is wondering but each time I always say rooms need a bit of a refresh / fixtures need an update. All in all a very very pleasant stay for us newlyweds :) very happy still haven’t had a chance to visit the spa (one day!) but the pools are great for everyone especially families and GO TO LONGBOARDS! ITS A MUST!
