The museum is not very big, but quite entertaining. Some of the figures look very real, but some are hard to recognize, apparently it's because they were made out of wax like they did in old times. Staff was helpful and friendly. I loved the...More
My daughter and I spent our last full day in Surfers visiting some of the attractions in Surfers, starting with the Wax Museum. I didn't know what to expect and so didn't set my expectations too high. When we arrived there was no-one else there,...More

Thank you for your visit. So pleased you arrived early and so had a guided tour by yourself which is so unusual. Usually we have large tours which we can accommodate easily. So on this one occasion you were so lucky.
Our wax figures have...More
Great way to spend a couple of hours. Friendly staff with a good attitude. Top half is self guided and it's mainly famous figures. Half are extremely well done and the rest are pretty average. There is a noticeable difference. The bottom story is a...More

So pleased you enjoyed The Wax Museum. It is lovely to know you enjoyed our variety of wax figures, most have been made by famous wax sculptures. All the best.
What a lovely time strolling through the fantastic wax museum. The effort put into every person was terrific. The historical information and knowledge of the guide was amazing and entertaining at the same time. Well priced.

So pleased you enjoyed The Wax Museum. Your thoughts and comments makes our job so interesting. All the very best.
I have to be honest and say that I was very disappointed in the displays. All figures were behind glass and although were made well, they were not life like. The tour of the torture chamber was interesting but wanted to see more wax figures...More
Saw this place while traveling up the main road. Great friendly people. Who got us into the whole wax thing. Ok, this is not madam T's and does not come close. But some fun ways of interacting with the different statues. Box Ali, greet Obama....More

Thanks for your comments. We are not Madame Tusords. Your comparison to Madame Tussauds is a complement to us. The touchable figures of Madame Tussauds are not solid Wax as wax is as brittle as a candle.

Hi, The Wax Figures in the Famous People are behind glass, however in The Chamber of Horrors only some of the wax figures are behind glass and some are behind bars as this is the atmosphere that we wish to create. In the foyer there are some figures that are not behind glass.
Hope this helps.
