This shopping centre has been fully renovated and is much improved from the past.

Its the largest and most well known mall in Surfers Paradise.

As a child I use to visit to play games ion the amusement centre.

There appears to have been an addition with some new tenants like El Camino Mexican, Thai Restaurant, and ice cream shops and more.

On the first floor where the eateries are located you get great views of Surfers Paradise Beach.

Not a large shopping centre with a relatively small selection of shops. Woolies, massage, tattoo, Typo, Platypus, Vans etc

Heaven for coeliacs! Had the best meal and service at La Playa GC.last night. Staff were amazing, cocktails were fabulous and the Saganaki followed by the Halloumi Crumbed Palma was out of this world delicious and coeliac friendly. My friend had the Morrican Chicken which was also excellent. Can't recommend higly enough and a shame I don't live there as would be a regular!! Well done La Playa :)

There are people who wear torn clothes and call the roads home roaming here. They consume intoxicating substances and are a real menace. Do away with the!

First Time I visited this place I was 9 back in 1984/1985 and the only thing going for it was water slides out the front and Grundies arcade/theme park on the top floor. It was seedy then, now with my young ones 8&3 we took them to play which now is a time zone and have to say it was absolutely shocking just renovated and a total mess, bring back the old days. Also cafe Park is dated, small and expensive guess they have to charge you as they know you're not going to buy anything there

Just another shopping centre. Beware of the alcohol and drug affected people hanging around this centre.
I was confronted by a very drunk and seemingly drug affected angry man accusing me of being "undercover" , very much in my face and very angry. This spoilt my day and from ever going back into that mall again. There seems to be a lot of these people at the entrances to the mall, making comments and causing disturbances. No security seen.

Great place with plenty to do. Timezone is still being renovated ao they only have a small popup area going, but the bowling alley was in full swing. Great atmosphere.

I stayed with my family for about a week. It's the first time that I stayed in a service apartment and I really think The Opium a desirable place for someone considering a comparative long stay in Gold Coast.
I enjoyed the spacious room, living room, where every morning three of us have our self-prepared breakfast (the kitchen facilitiy and nearby market made it really easy). Also, I enjoyed watching the beach with a drink every afternoon. I would recommend to all i know.

Big mall that comes with a bowling centre, super big Timezone arcade centre and a Woolworths supermarket. Nothing much to shop here but you will definitely pass by if you need to get mineral water back to your hotel from Woolworths. The super big scale Timezone will cheer your young ones up if get them a card.

The Paradise Centre is located in the Middle on Surfers Paradise its the main shopping mall and it has everything you will need . Its always good to get out of the heat and cool down in the aircon, i often get my nails done here inside the mall there are two beauty shops. Also if you got kids or just looking to do something fun there is the Timezone, Glow in the dark bowling and the shooting range.
