My 10 year old and I loved our tandem parasail. The company was organised and professional. Making us feel safe and confident. Would definitely recommend.

Booked my husband and son on a jet ski tour for his 50th birthday. They travelled all the way to the Watersports office to be kept waiting for half and hour then told the tour was cancelled with a smug smile on the staff member’s face. This effectively ruined our day as we had no chance to plan anything else. Why it was cancelled so last minute was not made clear to us and when I rang to enquire, the (presumably same rude and smug) staff member said she’s already explained to my husband and hung up on me! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. Nor was any offer was made to reimburse my husband and son for the cost of their travel to get there. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.

When we cannot proceed with a tour for any reason ( which is extremely rare ) we explain very clearly to the group the reasons. We had multiple staff that day get sick and we're sent home.
I also reiterated to your 50yr old husband personally while I was refunding him as to why we could not proceed.
You then rang to ask why it did not go ahead and I explained clearly again to which you then demanded I pay for his travel costs.....
We have partnered up with multiple other GC tour Operators so we can offer so many options so there were heaps of experiences your husband and son could have still enjoyed however your husband was not communicative at all
20mins later we had extreme weather which would have put your family in danger if we had gone out.
We do not cut corners here, if there is any danger or reasons your family will not be safe ( this includes not having enough instructors on the tour ) to proceed with a tour it will be cancelled and we do not apologise for this.
We are unable to control certain situations however the one thing we can control is our reaction.

Did jet ski and para sail combo. Couldn't do jet boat as it was booked out. Best price in the town and really friendly staffs. Worth a try, will do it agin on my next visit.

Amazing experience, friendly and accommodating staff, all safety aspects covered and explained, easy to find location, parking on a Saturday in the closeby car park didn't break the bank either. Activities were just wonderful and got to cross off these from my bucket list! Highly recommend these activities, will be back to do the jet ski again but for a longer period. Purchased a photo package which was well worth it. Valuables can also be placed into a secure locker. We didn't bother taking our phones for photos. Dress to get wet also :) Thanks for a wonderful day.

My partner & I came up from Sydney last week and we booked the jetski ride on the 3rd of October 2022 and as we were looking forward to the jetski ride, literally the night before the trip it cancelled on us for no reason through the TripAdvisor app. we didn’t receive a notification about it, no call , no text msg & no email? We had assumed it was because of the weather since it was raining really bad the day before, so we tried to contact the jetski place the next morning and nobody had answered. after trying to get through to them 3 times, we contacted TripAdvisor and they requested that they’d give us a refund and said it would take 72 hours. It’s now been a week and we still haven’t received the refund, we contacted again just to be told that the jetski ride denied our refund. They assumed they tried to contact us about the refund but obviously lied because we didn’t receive any missed calls. We never took this trip and we never canceled on them, they canceled the trip on us so I’d kindly like to ask for our FULL refund back as we did not attend this trip and we did try to contact the place as well.

Hi Desteni, I am looking at the history of your booking. I can see that it was booked via Trip Advisor and then cancelled through Trip Advisor meaning we did not cancel your booking, the cancellation came from Trip Advisors side. You were booked for the 3rd October and a cancellation came through to us on the 1st October. Being school holidays please note if we cannot answer straight away we do reply with a text message asking you to text through your request and we will attend to it asap, however we did not receive any texts or emails from you. The system shows your booking as cancelled which means you will receive a refund ( we don't have to approve or deny a refund as it was cancelled ) Your refund will come from Trip Advisor ( not us ) as you paid them.
We haven't received your money as the the booking was not completed through Trip Advisor. This booking relates to a 30min Jetski.
However, we did receive another booking for the 3rd October for a Jetski / Jetboat package - this booking was a no show on the day and we did receive a refund request today similar to your review above, a refund was denied as we attempted to contact the guest multiple times on the day without success. I do wonder if you made a couple of bookings through Trip Advisor and perhaps may now be mistaken. If you would like to contact us at info@goldcoastwatersports.com.au I can confirm the name of that booking with you
We will never cancel a booking on anyone without contact or a particular reason. If there was a genuine mistake made during your booking process I would suggest discussing this directly with Trip Advisor and it would be at their discretion whether a refund is available or not

Hi there, we paid $50 for a USB with all our photos for two people (around 30). There are cheaper options around $20 per print but the USB was the best option.

Hi, You will be 08 minutes in the air, but the all experience includes a speedboat ride with other passengers so it will take about 1hr start to finish. We are more than happy to dip you in the water at the client's request:)
